Yikes...
Ok, so I've been neglecting our blog since, oh, mid-December.... Whoopsie. The holiday season always hits hard and I feel like my head doesn't surface for about a week or so after it all ends. Breathing again and finally, a quick post!
Logan has decided it's high time he's mobile. He's been working on crawling this week and is getting pretty good. He's also sitting up by himself (from laying down), talking more, and pulling himself up to his knees - almost to his feet now. Getting big so quick! Not sure if he's teething more or if he's got an ear infection, so going to call the doc tomorrow and see what they have to say. Hard to figure it out sometimes.
Michaela and Ava are doing great. Michaela is thriving in school, as usual. As most of you know, she turned 7 right after Christmas. Can't believe she'll be going into 2nd grade this September!! Ava... eek! Our baby girl will be 5 in March and around Feb 18th, I have to *gulp* register her for KINDERGARTEN! Kindergarten, people!!!! :( *sigh* Time flies... Before I know it, it'll be time to do the same for Logan. *sniffles*
I'm doing pretty good. Still enjoying the Grocery Game work and loving the savings I reap every time I go to the store. I'm a little more "high" about it this month, as I've hit a point where I'm just "cherry picking" (buying a few things to round out our stockpile and our needs items, like milk.) 80% savings this month off shelf price - $1123 worth of groceries for $229. Yeah, that makes me as giddy as a school girl! LOL
Mike has been seriously busy at work. Seems that he's always in meetings or furiously working on a project. No rest for the weary!!! When he's home, he's enjoying the family's new toy! We bought a Wii this week and all 4 of us have been having a great time. I'm pretty happy with the fact that *I* beat my husband in bowling!!! What is the world coming to?? LOL
Well, need to get up, out of these jammies and into some clothes so I can go to Trader Joe's when it opens. :) Then this afternoon, it's off to have dinner with Lauren and Dan. Pizza party!
Much love!
Karen
